I need your help raising funds for my MS150

Jan 22, 2015 | News

My name is Steve Worcester and I own/run TURNINGWOOD.com.

I am asking you to support me in Bike MS because this cause is very meaningful to me. Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.

Multiple sclerosis affects millions of people, including our loved ones, families, friends and co-workers. That’s why I’ve registered for Bike MS. Bike MS is a 150 mile bicycle ride (not a race) that brings us together to make a difference and each mile we ride brings us closer to a world free of MS. I am hoping for my grandchildren to not know what MS is.

Please support us!

Your gift helps support cutting-edge research and programs and services for everyone impacted by MS. Ending MS means no one will hear the words “You have MS” ever again. Every dollar counts!
Last year, I raised over $5000 to help fight MS, this year, I want to do so much more.

Please help.
But what can I do you say?
You can ride with me, assuming I will be out of a wheelchair by then
You can help the team by volunteering during the event.
You can donate

All are greatly appreciated.

To donate, just go to my page and make a donation, it is tax deductible

We at Turningwood.com are also committed to helping. We have become a major sponsor for the local BikeMS team Plano Cycling and Fitness, whose goal this year is to become one of only 4 BikeMS teams in the area to have hit a million dollars in donations.

Additionally, Turningwood.com will donate 10% of all sales for January through the end of April 2016, so buy often and buy big.
